At last, a real market on Main Street, the first one in my 20 years of living in this neighborhood. Please forgive the personal joy. This is the silver lining of the 2010 recession: food is necessary and a neighborhood food store can thrive. The blade sign attracts pedestrians, and rightly so, as hundreds of households are within the pedestrian shed (walkshed) of this location. The sidewalk sign in the foreground touts the bakery associated with the market.
